Qualitas Medical Group, All Nippon Airways collaborate to offer healthcare services to air travellers

3 Mins read

Qualitas Medical Group (Qualitas) has signed a collaboration agreement with All Nippon Airways Co.,

Ltd (ANA) to provide and perform Covid-19 RT-PCR screenings and Covid-19 RTK screenings for ANA passengers travelling between Malaysia and Japan or any other international destination.

ANA passengers are now able to book their Covid-19 tests with Qualitas clinics across Peninsula Malaysia through a link in the ANA website and enjoy an exclusive special discount rate. The system is linked to Qualitas’ unique booking and payment portal, which means that passengers are also able to make all payments and book an appointment for an RT-PCR and RTK test online and have access to any of 30 selected Qualitas GP clinics located all across Peninsula Malaysia.

“With this collaboration with Qualitas, the ability to easily book and make all payments online for a Covid-19 screening for your trip to Japan or any other international destination will make the entire process more convenient and enjoyable,” he said.

This collaboration is designed to simplify the travel preparation process, improve the customer experience, and offer added reassurance for ANA passengers’ trips. ANA and Qualitas will continue to work together as international travel resumes, to ensure that travel is as comfortable and convenient as possible.

All passengers’ tests will be verified by a Qualitas doctor.

Passengers who select the Covid-19 RT-PCR screening will receive a laboratory test report from an MOH-authorised laboratory as well as a Certificate of Testing for Covid-19 as required by Japan’s Ministry of Health within 24 hours of the screening. Passengers who select the Covid -19 RTK screening will receive a test report from the Malaysian National Public Health Laboratory (SIMKA) on the same day as the screening.

Yesterday, 9 February, Qualitas Medical Group signed an agreement with SP Setia to develop and operate an ambulatory care centre (ACC) in Setia Alam, Shah Alam. It will be established at Setia City Residences.

This will be Qualitas’ second ACC – the first one is ACC @ Evesuite in Ara Damansara – and SP Setia’s first foray into healthcare. ACCs are outpatient centres providing a range of comprehensive specialist and surgical services including wellness, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. They act as a bridge between full-fledged medical centres and general practice clinics.

Qualitas founder, director and executive chairman Dato’ Dr Noorul Ameen Mohamed Ishack said Qualitas was honoured to be identified by S P Setia as its first partner in its healthcare foray.

“Qualitas’ expertise in operating and managing outpatient centres and S P Setia’s experience in successful townships will form a strong and fruitful partnership for such ventures,” he said.

“Qualitas is very happy to work with ANA to offer air travellers the support they require to travel safely. This easy and convenient digital access to required Covid-19 screenings as well as Qualitas clinics and GP doctors will enable ANA passengers to comply with all health requirements as they travel from Malaysia to Japan or anywhere else in the world,” said Dr Junaidi Ismail, Malaysia Country Head of Qualitas Health Malaysia.

“Qualitas is actively opening up our digital channels to more people so that we can offer convenient and timely access to healthcare services to those who need it. Our collaboration with ANA facilitates this mission and also bolster’s ANA’s support to its loyal passengers,” he said.

“By making easy and convenient digital access to required Covid-19 screenings provided by Qualitas through a link in our website,
